An evening of mindfulness for changemakers — a chance to pause, to nourish yourself, and to connect with others working to create a more sustainable and just world.
Mindfulness has long been a refuge for those working in the climate movement - from activists, policymakers, sustainability professionals, systemic change practitioners and social changemakers. In times of challenge and uncertainty, these practices help us find steadiness, resilience, and hope.
The evening will be peer-led and inspired by the Plum Village tradition of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, offering guided meditations, a mindful reading, and space for group sharing. We’ll begin with a wholesome vegan meal, followed by gentle practices that are accessible whether you are completely new or more experienced in meditation. The event is hosted in a cosy Bedouin tent in Liverpool Street.
